Job summary

The Twelve Thirty Club is hiring a Barback in Nashville, TN. This position supports bartenders by restocking, cleaning, and maintaining bar stock while ensuring guest service runs smoothly. Training and a fast-paced, hospitable environment are part of daily expectations.

Eligible employees receive benefits after reaching 25 hours per week, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with a comprehensive wellness program. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• English communication skills are a must.
• Great if you have prior restaurant experience, but a stellar personality and team work are most important.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking garnishes, towels, glassware.
• Keep the bar stocked with ice, liquor, wine and beer.
• Check taps and appliances, perform minor repairs or change kegs as needed.
• Maintain a clean bar area by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping and disposing of waste.
• Maintain records and help with inventory to support reorders.

What you’ll do:

A rock star with an eye for detail, you are someone who really sets the pace with your service. If you have prior experience in a restaurant that’s great, but a stellar personality and the ability to work as a team member are even more important. English communication skills are a must. You are comfortable standing for long periods of time and can lift to 40 pounds. You have availability to work weekends and some holidays.

• Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
• Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs, or changing out kegs, if needed.
• Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Maintain records and report levels of usage to assist in the reordering process and ensuring that delivered items are stored properly.
