Job summary

The Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville, Tennessee is looking for a friendly cocktail/server to create memorable experiences for guests in a high-energy, hospitality-driven environment. You should be comfortable handling money, using a POS system, and standing for long periods while providing outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a cocktail or floor server in a high-volume venue.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and training.
• Follow company procedures when providing bottle service.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver exceptional hospitality.
• Present menus, answer questions, and suggest food/beverage items.
• Enter all orders accurately into the POS system.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned stations and the venue.

What you’ll do:

Outgoing, hospitable and always down to make friends. You have a minimum of two years of recent experience in as a cocktail or floor server in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub or lounge environment and are the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages. You are capable of handling money and operating a point-of-sale system. You have excellent English communication skills. You must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and are able to lift up to 25 pounds. You have availability to work weekends and some holidays.

• Serves all alcoholic beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards
• Follows all company procedures when providing bottle service
• Anticipate needs of the guests and provides exceptional hospitality
• Present menus, answer questions, and makes suggestions for all beverage and food items
• Accurately enters all orders into the POS system.
• Ensures the delivery of all food and beverage to the guests
• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and entire venue
