Job summary

The Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville is hiring a bartender to deliver high-end service in a dynamic, high-volume setting. You will showcase knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails, while engaging guests with recommendations and accurate order handling.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of bartending experience, strong English communication, and the stamina to stand for long periods. Weekend availability and adherence to safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent bartending experience.
• Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume restaurant/banquet style environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money.

Responsibilities

• Know brands of beer, wine, liquor and common cocktails; explain special drinks.
• Inform guests about specialty drinks and answer questions about food.
• Maintain cash bank and follow established procedures.
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, policies and regulations.

What you’ll do:

Outgoing, hospitable and always down to make friends. You have a minimum of two years of recent bartending experience and are the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages. We are looking for someone comfortable working in a high volume restaurant/banquet style environment. You have basic math skills, are capable of handling money, and operating a point-of-sale system. You have excellent English communication skills. You must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and are able to lift up to 25 pounds. You have availability to work weekends and some holidays. We’re hiring immediately!

• Have strong knowledge of brands of beer, wine and liquor, as well as the ingredients for the most common cocktails (garnishes, proper glassware, and prices)
• Have the ability to inform guests about specialty drinks, as well as answer questions about food
• Maintain cash bank and follow established procedures
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, policies and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Deliver drink orders in a timely, and efficient manner
