Job summary

The Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville, TN is hiring a bartender. The role requires at least two years of bartending experience, comfort with a high-volume environment, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 25 pounds. You will manage cash, operate the POS system, and provide excellent English communication with guests.

What you’ll do:

Outgoing, hospitable and always down to make friends. You have a minimum of two years of recent bartending experience and are the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages. We are looking for someone comfortable working in a high volume restaurant/banquet style environment. You have basic math skills, are capable of handling money, and operating a point-of-sale system. You have excellent English communication skills. You must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and are able to lift up to 25 pounds. You have availability to work weekends and some holidays. We're hiring immediately!

• Have strong knowledge of brands of beer, wine and liquor, as well as the ingredients for the most common cocktails (garnishes, proper glassware, and prices)
• Have the ability to inform guests about specialty drinks, as well as answer questions about food
• Maintain cash bank and follow established procedures
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, policies and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Deliver drink orders in a timely, and efficient manner
