Job summary

Bartolino’s in St. Louis is seeking a barback to support bartenders and keep the bar running smoothly. You’ll restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes, maintain clean stations, and assist with back-of-bar tasks during busy shifts.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, team players who can lift up to 50 lbs and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior bar experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Energetic, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (kegs, cases, etc.).
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous restaurant or bar experience is a plus, but not required – we’ll train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes.
• Keep bar stations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service.
• Change kegs and restock glassware quickly and efficiently.
• Prep garnishes and ensure bar condiments are fresh and ready.
• Remove trash, clear empty glasses and bottles, and maintain bar cleanliness.
• Help with ice management, beverage deliveries, and other back-of-bar tasks.
• Support bartenders during busy shifts to ensure fast, quality service for guests.
