Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group is hiring for a bar/restaurant support role in Huntington Beach. You will replenish bar supplies, maintain bar and lounge areas, and ensure glassware and utensils are cleaned and stored to meet guest expectations.

The position requires basic knowledge of food and beverage service, a positive attitude, and strong communication. Prior bar experience is a plus, with adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and replenish barsupplies (liquor, beer, ice, glassware) for timely service.
• Keep bar and lounge areas clean; reset and stock as needed.
• Wash glasses and utensils following sanitation guidelines and store properly.
• Dispose of recyclables and transport soiled barware to stewarding area.
• Follow standard food handling, sanitation, and health guidelines.
• Wear non-slip, oil-resistant shoes and follow safety policies.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and supplies by replenishing barsupplies including liquor, beer, CO2 and other beverage tanks, ice, glassware, dishes and consumable supplies to all bars and alcohol venues on a timely basis during the shift to ensure an experience that meets or exceeds guests' expectations.
• Maintain the appearance of bar and lounge areas by cleaning and resetting bars and related areas, stocking and removing glassware and related supplies such as ice, napkins and straws.
• Wash all glasses, utensils, and related preparation/serving items by following approved sanitation and safety guidelines, including operating commercial dishwasher; inspect, dry and store all cleaned items properly to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service.
• Properly disposes of recyclables and transports soiled barware to stewarding area.
• Follow all standard food handling, sanitation, TIPS and health department guidelines.
• Must wear non-slip, oil-resistant shoes. Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Reporting to work as scheduled (on time and on regular basis) is an essential function of the job.
