Job summary

Bradford Soap Works, Inc. in West Warwick, RI, is seeking a Bar Soap Production Supervisor to plan, direct, and oversee daily bar soap production lines. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations while meeting production, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

You will lead a unionized team, coordinate with maintenance, and uphold GMP/OSHA standards. A bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in unionized manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with GMP and OSHA regulations.
• Experience in employee selection, performance management, and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop production personnel; assign work and coach.
• Ensure daily targets, efficiency, and KPIs are achieved.
• Provide hands-on floor leadership and real-time direction.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and documentation.
• Uphold GMP and regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Participate in staffing, hiring, and labor relations processes.
