Job summary

Bradford Labs in West Warwick, RI, is seeking a Bar Soap Production Supervisor to lead daily bar soap production lines, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. You will guide shift teams, monitor targets, and collaborate with Maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance and equipment installs.

The role requires strong leadership in a unionized environment, adherence to GMP and OSHA standards, and a focus on continuous improvement, quality, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in production management or related field.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently under broad guidelines.
• Strong leadership and communication, labor relations management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop production personnel; monitor performance.
• Ensure daily targets and KPIs are achieved.
• Provide hands-on floor leadership and direction.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive maintenance and equipment installs.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain production records and shift reports.
• Manage timekeeping and payroll documentation.
• Administer the collective bargaining agreement.
• Participate in staffing, hiring, and job bidding processes.
• Ensure GMP and OSHA compliance.
• Promote safety and investigate incidents.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
