Bradford Labs Inc. in Rhode Island is seeking a Bar Soap Production Supervisor to lead daily bar soap production lines, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. You will drive efficiency, cost control, and regulatory compliance across a unionized workforce.

The role requires hands-on floor leadership, collaboration with Maintenance, and active participation in workforce planning, staffing, and training to foster continuous improvement and safe production practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop production personnel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with GMP and OSHA regulations and safe manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop production personnel; assign work, monitor performance, and provide coaching and corrective action as needed.
• Ensure daily production targets, efficiency metrics, and operational KPIs are achieved and sustained.
• Provide hands-on floor leadership and real-time direction to shift employees.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to schedule and execute preventative maintenance, repairs, and equipment installations.
• Ensure all products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and departmental documentation.
• Administer payroll-related documentation for assigned employees and participate in hiring activities.
• Promote GMP and OSHA compliance and lead safety investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and special projects on the production floor.
