Job summary

The Ruth's Chris and Lumber Baron Assistant Manager role at AHC Hospitality in Grand Rapids is focused on delivering flawless guest service, maintaining current cocktail and wine menus, and supporting daily operations alongside the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years management in high-volume restaurant or hotel.
• TiPs Certified.
• Wine knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and implement bar systems and structures.
• Keep bar current with Grand Rapids community via events.
• Coordinate between upper management and staff for tastings and presentations.
• Assist in Ruth's Chris training to ensure brand compliance.
• Oversee social media content to boost visibility and guest traffic.
• Print and maintain current cocktail and wine menus.
• Manage inventory and reduce wine, beer, liquor costs.
• Schedule staff and ensure proper guest service.
