Job Overview

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Merriam Genesis Health Clubs Bar, which includes hiring, recruiting and training new staff. This includes, but is not limited to, all bar back duties, employee recruiting and training, member and guest retention, and maintaining quality customer service. In addition, ordering all products/beverages for the bar.

Core Responsibilities

• Communicates kindly and sincerely using members/guests names
• Check members in and out efficiently
• Knowledgeable of Clubs amenities and surroundings
• Knowledgeable of Bar products and hours
• Ensures member/guest satisfaction & Loyalty
• Execute procedures as outlined by management team.
• Drive Sales.
• Understand and enforce all club and bar rules and guidelines.
• Supervise the accuracy of inventory for the bar and shake this!
• Responsible for loss prevention.
• Handle operations, which include hiring, scheduling, training and management of staff.
• Responsible for daily register deposits.
• Attends all staff and club meeting and events.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with members/guest and staff.
• Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensures bar is clean, maintained and organized at all times.

• Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health Clubs
• Provide input in developing strategies to support club and bar goals and objectives
• Develop and build a team atmosphere among staff and department
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
