Job summary

Bar Sprezzatura at the Heathman Hotel in Portland, OR is seeking a Bar Manager to lead operations, beverage service, and a high‑performing team in a busy, upscale setting.

You will develop the beverage program, manage inventory and costs, train staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences, collaborating with general manager, culinary leadership, and hotel partners to maintain Mina Group standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a high‑volume cocktail bar, upscale restaurant, hotel bar, or fine dining environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to drive beverage sales through training and strategic selling.
• Experience with inventory controls, cost management, and menu pricing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and lead the beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and implement the beverage program and seasonal menus.
• Coach staff, train bartenders, and mentor junior leaders.
• Collaborate with General Manager, culinary leadership, and hotel partners to uphold Mina Group standards.
• Maintain financial reporting, labor management, and cost controls.
