Bar Sprezzatura at Bar Sprezzatura, a Makeready property in Portland, seeks an experienced Bar Manager to lead a high‑volume bar program and guest‑directed service. You will mentor staff, drive beverage sales, and maintain beverage quality in collaboration with hotel leadership.

The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, inventory and cost controls, and a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience aligned with Mina Group standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a high‑volume bar, upscale restaurant, hotel bar, or fine dining environment with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer; strong financial and cost controls experience.
• Experience developing beverage programs and managing inventory, pricing, and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and beverage service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and coach the beverage team, driving sales through service and strategic selling.
• Collaborate with General Manager, culinary leadership, and hotel partners to ensure brand standards and program success.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and beverage cost controls while upholding safety and sanitation protocols.
