Job summary

Shaner Hotels invites hospitality-focused individuals to join the Courtyard Hamilton team in Hamilton, Ohio. You will take and prepare beverage orders, serve guests, maintain clean outlets, and ensure safety and quality in line with brand standards.

The role requires one year of F&B experience, ability to read safety rules, and strong guest communication. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; flexibility for weekends and varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in Restaurant / Food & Beverage.
• State age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Good communication with guests, management and staff.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training is a plus.
• Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests, courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain stock, supplies and cleanliness of outlet and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Respond to guest-related issues pertaining to the department.
• Communicate with General Manager and other department managers and staff.
