Job Title: Bar Attendant/Barista at Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel

The Bar Attendant/Barista is responsible for:

1. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
2. Checking with the captain or supervisor before leaving at the end of the shift.
3. Setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas, including ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
4. Removing soiled wares from the bar top and tables.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and tools, following all setup guidelines.
6. Following all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
7. Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are professional, maintaining confidentiality, and protecting company assets.
8. Welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing service needs, and thanking guests sincerely.
9. Communicating clearly and professionally with others.
10. Developing positive working relationships and supporting team goals.
11. Ensuring adherence to quality standards.
12. Reading and visually verifying information in various formats.
13. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
14. Moving, lifting, and manipulating objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
15. Learning to prepare specialty coffees and refreshers for Starbucks operations.
16. Performing other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
