Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor for the Del Mar Fairgrounds and Thoroughbred Racing Seasons. This role oversees daily operations, trains staff, and ensures top-notch service across restaurants, bars, concessions, beer carts, and banquet spaces.

You will manage quality, inventory, and guest experience while upholding health and safety standards. The position requires supervision experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long hours during events.

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the 2026 Del Mar Fairgrounds and Thoroughbred Racing Seasons. Responsible for – Daily operations and supervision of employees that prepare and serve food and drinks to customers such as Restaurants, Bars, Concessions, Beer Carts and Banquet halls/Concerts. Food and Beverage supervisors oversee all of the issues pertaining to a patron’s dining experience, such as quality control, staff management, inventory, health and safety regulations and customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• training new staff
• managing employees
• overseeing inventory, including food and beverages, supplies and restaurant equipment
• resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and service
• making sure the food & beverage areas complies with health and food safety regulations

Supervisory Responsibilities

Familiar with OSHA, Health Dept., working knowledge of ABC laws, and Serv-Safe, L.E.A.D and/or T.I.P.S., Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) & POS System proficiency is very helpful.

This position’s pay rate will range from $22.00 to $26.00.
