Job summary

The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center, Curio Collection by Hilton in New Orleans seeks a motivated Steward Supervisor to lead the stewarding team, ensure clean and organized kitchen operations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. You will manage inventory, coordinate schedules, and train staff in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities include supervising breakdowns, maintaining sanitation, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Steward Supervisor or similar supervisory role.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English mandatory.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong leadership and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and set up and run breakdown stations.
• Maintain control of china, glassware, and silver between food and beverage departments; sort, clean and return to storage.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen and dish room.
• Assist in training new stewarding staff.
• Supervise and/or conduct inventory of glassware and supplies.
• Perform in capacity of any position supervised.
• Demonstrate positive leadership to inspire standards.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
