Job description

A Banquet Server is responsible for the setup and service of all assigned banquet functions.

Responsibilities

1. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
2. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, which will vary according to the hotel's needs.
3. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
4. Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
5. Meet certification requirements applicable for the position, such as Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, Safety, etc.
6. Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
7. Perform preparatory tasks and side work to ensure prompt and efficient guest service.
8. Read and understand the Banquet Event Order and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
9. Other duties as required.
