Job summary

Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to solicit, negotiate, and book wedding and social events. You will develop territorial marketing strategies, upsell meetings, and coordinate with hotel departments to ensure flawless event delivery.

The role requires 1–2 years in catering or hospitality sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a dedication to guest satisfaction. 40–42.5 hours per week with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in catering sales, event sales, wedding sales or hospitality sales.
• Knowledge of catering, food & beverage, menu development and pricing.
• Familiarity with hotel policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business to meet revenue goals.
• Develop and execute territorial marketing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Plan, upsell, and detail meetings/functions with clients, including space, equipment, menus, and decor.
• Prepare contracts and banquet event orders, coordinate with hotel departments, and ensure customer satisfaction.
