Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquets Event Coordinator to oversee the setup, operation, and completion of all scheduled functions, and to maintain convention, meeting, and banquet facilities in a timely manner. Starting rate: $19.00 an hour.

As part of the leadership team, you will guide and support associates to deliver extraordinary guest experiences, ensure service excellence, and foster a welcoming environment across events and venues.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, restaurant, and/or event setup with some leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to use computer and standard business systems.
• Knowledge of tourism or hotel/resort operations is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with clients, management, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration work including hiring, scheduling, and payroll processes.
• Ensure smooth operation, setup, and completion of all scheduled functions and facilities upkeep.
• Lead and support associates to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
