Job Description

The bartender will be responsible for the service of guests, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications. Maintain stock, supplies and cleanliness of Banquet bar and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function, including liquor brands, wines, non-alcoholic beverages, prices, glassware, ingredients, and guest details.
  • Adhere to state liquor regulations, especially regarding service to minors and intoxicated persons.
  • Properly maintain and use equipment; keep supplies stocked and organized.
  • Handle opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and secure storage.
  • Greet guests, take orders, suggest drinks, and serve beverages according to standards.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction, handle complaints, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Accurately handle cash and credit transactions, and complete reports.
  • Transport and breakdown bar setups as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
  • 2 years experience as a bartender or bar back.
  • Food handling certification.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
