Continental Events is seeking a dedicated Banquet Supervisor to lead setup, service and breakdown for our events at Macomb Community College. You will ensure a seamless guest experience, coordinating with kitchen and event staff to deliver courteous service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. DOT physical and a clean driving record are required.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Banquet Supervisor to join our team. The Banquet Supervisor will be responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a keen eye for detail.

Onsite at Macomb Community College.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and other event equipment according to the event plan.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Clear tables, remove dishes, and ensure the banquet area is clean and orderly during and after events.
• Work closely with the kitchen and event coordinators to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Address guest needs and requests promptly and courteously.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a banquet or hospitality setting is preferred.
