Legends Global in Fishers, Indiana, is seeking a part-time Banquet Supervisor to provide premium catering service at events hosted at the Fishers Event Center.

You will lead banquet staff, ensure guest satisfaction, review banquet event orders, secure equipment, and maintain grooming and service standards while working closely with the Premium Services Manager.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a service-oriented environment, catering experience preferred.
  • Indiana Liquor License required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced event setting.
  • Strong guest service and hospitality focus.

Responsibilities

  • Reports for work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time.
  • Reviews Banquet Event Orders and secures needed equipment prior to each event.
  • Assists with collecting banquet equipment and preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads.
  • Directly supervises catering staff and assigns roles based on event needs.
  • Attends pre-function briefings and maintains friendly, courteous service.
  • Breaks down tables and banquet equipment after events and resets rooms.

POSITION: Banquet Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage

REPORTS TO: Premium Services Manager

FLSA STATUS: Part-time hourly, Non-Exempt

THE ROLE

The part‑time Banquet Supervisor is a hands‑on position, providing the highest degree of professional catering service to guests with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction and retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reports for work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time.
  • Follows instructions for each event as given by the Premium Services Manager
  • Reviews Banquet Event Orders and Ensures all products and equipment needed are secured prior to each event.
  • Assists with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.
  • Assists with preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads.
  • Assists with cleaning and filling salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc.
  • Assists with preparation and set‑up of event room when necessary.
  • Prepares tables with place settings as instructed by the Premium Services Manager
  • Attends pre‑function meeting for briefing of event details.
  • Checks in and Assigns Catering Staff based on event needs
  • Always provides friendly and courteous customer service.
  • Main point of contact on event floor for Clients during live events
  • Remains at assigned station and performs duties as assigned according to each event.
  • Reports any customer concerns and/or complaints to Premium Services Manager
  • Breaks down tables and banquet equipment after each event.
  • Cleans and returns serving pieces to proper storage area.
  • Adheres to strict grooming standards and policies of company.
  • Follows service standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary.
Education and/or Experience

Minimum of 3 years work experience in service‑oriented environment, catering experience preferred

Indiana Liquor License
