Job summary

Landry's is seeking a Steward Supervisor to oversee kitchen cleaning and equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and efficient inventory control. You will supervise staff, manage dishwashing operations, and support the receiving and storage of stock, while upholding safety and security for all employees and guests.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with prior stewarding or hotel management experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Stewarding Management experience in a similar environment preferred.
• At least 2 years of Hotel Management experience preferred.
• Experience handling large banquet events of 200 or more.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• The cleaning and washing all kitchen equipment, pots, and pans.
• The cleaning, washing, and storing all china, silverware, and glasses using the dishwasher.
• Delivering stock from receiving department and storing it.
• Taking out kitchen trash, including grease and food particles from garbage disposals.
• Cleaning floors in the kitchen area and cookers.
• Ensuring safety and security of all employees and guests.
