Job summary

The Stella Hotel & Ballroom in Kenosha, WI is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef OEM to lead the banquet kitchen and craft inspiring menus for events. You will partner with teams to deliver standout presentations while ensuring efficiency, safety, and waste reduction.

Your role combines creativity with high standards and strong organizational leadership. You will oversee budgets, train staff, and design banquet displays that wow guests, all while maintaining a spotless, well-run kitchen environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead, coach, and mentor kitchen staff.
• Strong communication and problem-solving under pressure.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and cost-conscious operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen staff to ensure high standards, timely banquets, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, stock, and food costs while maintaining quality.
• Create banquet menus and compelling food presentations for events.
• Enforce Aimbridge Hospitality standards and uphold safety and cleanliness.
