Job summary

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking a full-time Banquet Set-up team member to prepare and arrange banquet spaces to the highest standards, ensuring flawless service in an elegant setting.

You will set up banquet rooms, assist with event setup and breakdown, and collaborate with banquet and culinary teams to ensure successful events while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet/event setup preferred but not required.
• Able to lift and carry heavy items and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
• Assist with the timely and efficient setup and breakdown of banquet events.
• Collaborate with the banquet and culinary teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas and storage.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to event needs and requests.
