Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a well-rounded Banquet House Person On Call to support event spaces with setup, breakdown, and on-site service. The role emphasizes physical stamina, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include coordinating with banquet captains and staff, preparing event spaces, and ensuring rooms are ready for guests. On-call shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays with comprehensive benefits for team members.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma preferred.
• Prior hotel/banquet/event setup experience is a plus.
• Able to lift and move heavy furniture safely.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Set up banquet rooms and space according to floor plans.
• Prepare and arrange linens, settings, chairs, podiums, and equipment.
• Break down spaces after events and return items to storage.
• Maintain clean, organized storage and service areas.
• Move and transport banquet furniture and AV equipment safely.
• Collaborate with banquet team to ensure smooth events.
• Adjust room layouts per last-minute requests and inspect spaces.
