CoralTree Hospitality Group's Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a well-rounded Banquet House Person On Call to join our luxury event team. You will assist with setting up and breaking down banquet spaces for high-profile events, ensuring rooms are clean, organized, and ready for guests.

Reporting to the Director of Banquets, you will collaborate with banquet captains and servers, follow safety procedures, and provide professional guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment safely.
• Stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event floor plans.
• Prepare event spaces with linens, table settings, chairs, podiums, and other items.
• Break down events and return items to storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, storage areas, and service spaces.
• Handle equipment and transport banquet furniture and AV equipment.
• Work closely with banquet captains, servers, supervisors, and event coordinators.
• Adjust room layouts based on last-minute requests.
• Inspect event spaces before guests arrive.
• Follow safety procedures and hotel policies.
• Provide courteous customer service to guests and staff.
• Assist with loading supplies, replenishing equipment, and preparing rooms for upcoming functions.
