Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to support our Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale. You will assist with banquets, weddings, conferences, and events, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

The role involves setting up event spaces, serving guests, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with banquet captains and kitchen staff. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. On-call basis with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet, catering, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and short-notice shifts.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, tables, chairs, linens, and service stations per event specs.
• Serve food and beverages professionally during events.
• Greet guests and respond to requests promptly.
• Follow banquet event orders (BEOs) and supervisor instructions.
• Clear tables, replenish supplies, and maintain clean service areas.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Collaborate with banquet captains, kitchen staff, bartenders, and team members.
• Break down event spaces and return equipment to storage areas.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with policies.
