Astor Crowne Plaza New Orleans, managed by HEI Hotels and Resorts, seeks a Banquet Setup associate to assist the Banquet Manager in preparing for events and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will set up meeting rooms to exact specifications and handle substantial physical tasks, including transporting tables, chairs, and staging.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles used in meeting rooms.
• Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and podiums up to 100 lbs.
• This role requires significant physical activity during shift for setup/breakdown.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications, including heavy materials.
• Transport and arrange furniture, staging, and equipment as needed.
• Replenish meeting spaces with glasses and water; break down rooms after events.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and ballrooms; follow attendance rules.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
