Job summary

Hei Hotels Inc. is seeking a Banquet Server for on-site events at the Astor Crowne Plaza in New Orleans, LA. You will assist the Banquet Manager in serving guests during banquet functions, ensuring a positive guest experience and maintaining service standards.

The role requires hotel or banquet experience, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to manage service with attentiveness and courtesy. Uniforms are provided, meals are included, and parking benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Willingness to pitch in and help coworkers.
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage service and etiquette.
• Ability to handle standing/walking for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as directed by Supervisor, including linens, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function specifics and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food/beverage in the required order and style; clear dishes promptly.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction throughout service.
• Reset banquet room for the next function and comply with attendance rules.
