Job summary

World Equestrian Center Ocala in Ocala, FL is seeking a Banquet Setup Attendant to expertly arrange banquet rooms per event orders, including tables, chairs, linens, and décor, and to ensure spaces are clean and guest-ready before and after events.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays, with duties spanning breakdowns, equipment checks, and collaboration with banquet captains and other departments to deliver seamless events.

Qualifications

• Banquet/event setup experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms per event orders (BEOs) with tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors and décor.
• Arrange room configurations (classroom, theater, U-shape, rounds) per client specs.
• Keep event spaces clean, organized and presentable before, during and after events.
• Break down and reset rooms efficiently for subsequent events.
• Coordinate with banquet captains, managers and other departments for seamless execution.
• Inspect equipment and report damages or maintenance needs.
• Maintain inventory of banquet equipment, linens and supplies.
• Assist with movement and storage of furniture and equipment.
• Ensure setups meet safety standards and company policies.
• Provide excellent internal and guest service when interacting with clients or staff.
