Boyd Gaming Corporation in Kansas City, MO is seeking an On-Call Banquet Set Up Person to join our hospitality team. You will prepare banquet facilities, manage equipment, and support the service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will read and execute BEOs, set up and break down events, maintain clean and organized banquet areas, and collaborate with multiple departments during high-volume functions.

Qualifications

• Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to set up events.
• Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain organization and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavy equipment safely.
• English communication with guests and staff.
• Experience in high-volume events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet tables, chairs, staging, and equipment.
• Read and execute BEO to ensure correct room setup.
• Keep banquet areas clean, organized, and sanitary during events.
• Stock supplies and manage inventory for events.
• Collaborate with service staff and event coordinators for seamless execution.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to health regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and assist guests as needed.
