Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in the United States is seeking a banquet services team member to set up and break down banquet equipment, stock and deliver supplies, and maintain banquet areas for events.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to lift up to 150 pounds, and proficient English communication. Prior experience is preferred; candidates must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
• Able to lift up to 150 pounds.
• Physical demands include sitting, bending, lifting, reaching, pulling/pushing, kneeling, squatting, and grasping.
• Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English (read, write, speak).
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any required licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet equipment in accordance with the BEO; break down after the event.
• Deliver supplies from the banquet bar porter in a timely and efficient manner.
• Store and maintain all banquet equipment, bars, carts, portable units, tables, chairs, and related items.
• Refresh meeting rooms as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility.
