Loews Hotels & Co in Coral Gables is hiring a Banquet Houseperson to set up and break down event spaces, ensuring precise layouts and guest-ready environments for weddings, meetings, and social functions.

You will collaborate with banquet leaders and other departments to execute flawless setups, maintain cleanliness, and respond quickly to last‑minute changes while upholding top safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a mid-high-volume banquet and/or restaurant within an upscale hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend and lift 100+ pounds repetitively throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Execute room setups and breakdowns based on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Ensure furniture and equipment are placed accurately and safely for events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet and storage areas.
• Perform regular inspections of event spaces before, during, and after functions.
