Loews Kansas City Hotel is seeking a proactive Banquet Houseperson to ensure flawless event setups and breakdowns, from weddings to corporate galas. You will collaborate with banquet leaders and event teams to transform visions into ready spaces, maintaining safety and cleanliness throughout each shift.

The role rewards attention to detail, teamwork, and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced hotel environment. Eligibility includes physical stamina and flexibility for varying shifts.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a mid-high-volume banquet and/or restaurant within an upscale hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend and lift/pull/push 100 plus pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute room setups and breakdowns based on BEOs, including tables, chairs, staging, and décor.
• Ensure furniture and equipment are placed safely for events such as weddings, meetings, and social functions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet and storage areas, ensuring readiness for future events.
• Perform regular inspections of event spaces before, during, and after functions to ensure quality and readiness.
• Respond to guest and team requests during events, including last-minute layout changes or additional setup needs.
