Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a Banquet House Person to help set up, maintain, and break down banquet and event spaces across the property. This role suits someone who stays active, enjoys teamwork, and delivers seamless event experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will work with Banquets, Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure room setups meet BEO specifications, and you will respond quickly to last-minute requests.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, hospitality, hotel, or event setup preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail for room setup accuracy.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms and event spaces per BEOs and hotel standards.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, AV equipment for events.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation across banquet spaces and storage areas.
• Assist with room resets, event transitions, and operational changes.
• Support banquet operations by replenishing supplies and assisting teams.
• Operate banquet equipment safely and follow safety procedures.
