Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a Banquet Houseperson at The Chase Park Plaza. The role centers on cleaning, setup, and assisting with events per BEO guidelines. You will work closely with the team to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth event execution.

Responsibilities include setup and breakdown of rooms, linen handling, AV setup, and maintaining banquet areas. You may support other hotel areas as needed, with a focus on delivering friendly, attentive service.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience.
• Strong communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time for training and safety purposes, and when interacting with guests and associates.
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products.
• Assist with operational duties to fulfill guest requests and events.
• Set up event rooms according to BEO guidelines and verify setup with the Captain/manager.
• Gather and transport supplies for events, including linens, tables, chairs, AV equipment, and water.
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms and employee areas, report discrepancies.
• Work with team members and management on projects and events.
• Occasionally assist other roles, such as banquet server or bar back, as needed.
