Atrium Hospitality's Charleston Embassy Suites in Charleston, WV is seeking a part-time Event Services Associate to support meeting and banquet operations. You will set up and break down spaces, keep areas guest-ready, transport supplies and assist with coffee breaks and service, all while delivering friendly, attentive guest experiences.

The position requires physical stamina, strong teamwork, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strength and stamina – You’ll lift and move up to 50 lbs and be on your feet most of the shift.
• Attention to detail – Almost right isn’t good enough for event perfection.
• Clear communicator – Follow instructions and work well with your team including the kitchen.
• Flexible schedule – Nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-first attitude – Large events require collaboration and you enjoy the pace.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting and banquet rooms based on event orders and cleanliness standards.
• Keep event spaces refreshed and guest-ready throughout the day (including coffee breaks).
• Help transport supplies and materials where needed (boxes, programs, décor).
• Support food and beverage service by bussing and resetting tables.
• Be the friendly face guests remember, solving small issues with a big smile.
