Job summary

Hilton Scottsdale Resort and Villas seeks a Banquets Houseperson to ensure seamless setup and execution of meetings and meals, maintaining a professional environment and promptly responding to guest needs.

You will set up and break down banquet spaces, coordinate water, amenities and AV, assist with service, and uphold safety and energy guidelines while delivering outstanding guest service.

Previous banquet, hospitality or customer service experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in banquet, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check required.
• Previous role setup and service in event settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet function rooms according to standards.
• Ensure water, amenities, AV, and breaks are in room 15 minutes before start.
• Assist with guest equipment requests and communicate charges.
• Provide excellent guest service by greeting guests and addressing needs.
• Assist with banquet meal service and proper front-office posting.
• Follow safety procedures and energy conservation guidelines.
