Job summary

Topnotch Resort in Vermont is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to support the banquet team and ensure exceptional guest service during events. This role requires setting up, sanitation, and careful handling of equipment as directed by the Banquet Captain.

You will work closely with event staff, read BEOs, assist guests, and help maintain safety and cleanliness. Prior hotel banquet experience is preferred; AV equipment familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prefer previous hotel banquet or related service experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation levels of banquet space.
• Set up function space according to Banquet Events Orders (BEO).
• Procure equipment as directed by captains, equipment requisition sheet or BEO.
• Assist guests and respond to requests as needed.
• Complete opening and closing duties and ensure space is clean and properly set.
• Attend departmental meetings and comply with hotel standards of service.
