Job summary

Island Hospitality Management is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of banquet facilities, assist with event setup and service, and support post-event operations. You will help ensure guest-ready spaces and collaborate with banquet, kitchen, housekeeping, and front desk teams to deliver a seamless guest experience in our Virginia venues.

Responsibilities

Set up, arrange, and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and event areas according to BEOs and hotel standards.
Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, and other event equipment.
Ensure banquet spaces are clean, stocked, and guest-ready before events.
Assist with food and beverage service at banquets and support servers during events.
Support post-event cleanup and equipment storage.
Coordinate with related teams to ensure smooth service.
Follow safety, sanitation, and hotel policies during service.
