Job summary

Regency Hotel Management is seeking a Banquet Set Up to prepare and maintain banquet rooms for guest functions in our Mount Sterling venue. Responsibilities include setting up and tearing down function spaces, assisting with service and buffet stocking, and ensuring a clean, organized environment that supports smooth operations.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to read BEOs, and a professional demeanor toward guests and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior banquet set up experience preferred or related food and beverage service experience.
• Ability to read basic English in order to read BEOs and communicate with customers and other employees.
• Exercise good judgment and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs intermittently and push carts/equipment over 250 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and teardown of all function room space according to BEO details and banquet standards.
• Assist Captains and servers with serving food or beverages and stocking buffet lines when requested.
• Participate as a team to provide smooth operations of this area.
• Keep banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and banquet kitchen neat, clean and well organized.
• Display professional attitude toward guests, peers and management.
