Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a detail-oriented team member to assist in function room setup and cleanliness across events and meetings. You will understand guest needs, prioritize tasks, and ensure correct room configurations and equipment are prepared to meet group requirements.

Ideal candidates will follow safety and departmental standards while coordinating with other teams to deliver smooth event experiences. This role offers base pay in the $21–$23/hour range with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel event setup is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards.

Responsibilities

• Understand guest needs and set up requirements
• Prioritize, organize and follow through on tasks
• Adhere to hotel specifications and cleanliness standards in function rooms
• Set up rooms and function areas with tables, chairs, staging, and equipment as specified by group requirements
• Review assignment sheets with supervisor and report progress
• Stock and organize supplies and ensure equipment is in working order
