Job summary

Reefhouse Resort in Key Largo, FL is seeking a dedicated banquet setup teammate to prepare event spaces, arrange furnishings, and ensure high standards of service.

You’ll work with event staff to set up AV gear, linens, centerpieces, and supplies, then help teardown and reset rooms for the next function. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a collaborative, flexible approach to irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to handle moving heavy equipment and furniture.
• Ability to read and follow event instructions and floor plans accurately.
• Attention to detail to ensure the event space is set up correctly and meets specifications.
• Teamwork to collaborate with other staff members.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other furniture.
• Set up AV equipment, linens, centerpieces, and supplies.
• Clean rooms with sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wipe surfaces to be guest-ready.
• Assist with event breakdown, moving and storing equipment and furniture.
• Keep banquet and public spaces clean and organized.
• Collaborate with event staff to ensure setup is complete for service.

Job description

Greet guests, set up and teardown banquet rooms utilizing chairs, tables and equipment for guest functions. Help maintain an efficient, clean, profitable and professional banquet facility by providing quality service, hospitality and function room standards.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other furniture
• Set up and place audio-visual equipment, linens, centerpieces, and other supplies
• Perform final cleaning of rooms, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces like windows and walls to ensure the space is ready for guests
• Assist with the breakdown of events, including moving and storing all equipment and furniture in its designated plac.
• Keep banquet areas, public spaces, and storage areas clean and organized
• Work with event staff and servers to ensure the setup is complete and ready for service
