Job summary

Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort in Jensen Beach, FL is seeking an energetic banquet setup associate to prepare and reset banquet rooms for guest events, including arranging tables, chairs, stages, and audio-visual elements.

You will collaborate with event staff, maintain cleanliness, and ensure spaces meet specifications while working nights, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to move and lift equipment and furniture.
• Ability to read and follow event instructions and floor plans.
• Attention to detail to ensure correct setup and standards.
• Teamwork to collaborate with event staff and servers.
• Willingness to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other furniture
• Set up and place audio-visual equipment, linens, centerpieces, and other supplies
• Perform final cleaning of rooms, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces
• Assist with breakdown of events and store equipment in designated places
• Keep banquet areas, public spaces, and storage areas clean and organized
• Work with event staff to ensure setup is complete and ready for service

Job description

Greet guests, set up and teardown banquet rooms utilizing chairs, tables and equipment for guest functions. Help maintain an efficient, clean, profitable and professional banquet facility by providing quality service, hospitality and function room standards.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other furniture
• Set up and place audio-visual equipment, linens, centerpieces, and other supplies
• Perform final cleaning of rooms, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces like windows and walls to ensure the space is ready for guests
• Assist with the breakdown of events, including moving and storing all equipment and furniture in its designated plac.
• Keep banquet areas, public spaces, and storage areas clean and organized
• Work with event staff and servers to ensure the setup is complete and ready for service

• Physical stamina to handle moving heavy equipment and furniture
