Job summary

Chartwell in Franklin, TN seeks a banquet setup associate to properly set up and break down all function rooms, service corridors, storerooms and public areas, ensuring a safe, clean environment for events. You will work with the team to service meeting spaces, check electrical hook-ups and cords, assist guests, perform periodic deep cleaning of banquet areas and other duties as assigned by the manager.

• Assist guests whenever possible, referring all requests which are beyond scope of responsibility immediately to supervisor.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 1. Be familiar with the various types of workable setups for each function room.
• 2. Check temperature and see if all lights are working and adjusted properly.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; bend; walk; use hands or finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; lift boxes (up to 25 pounds); talk and hear.

While performing the essential functions of this position (and other duties as assigned), an employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, and equipment. The position may also require lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, communicating verbally, and utilizing close vision for computer-related tasks.
