Job summary

Cheeca Lodge & Spa in the Florida Keys is seeking Banquet Setup Staff to help prepare and reset venues for diverse events, including beachside gatherings and the Islamorada Ballroom. You will arrange settings and decorations to reflect an elegant atmosphere and support AV equipment placement as needed.

This on-call role emphasizes hands-on work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain clean, orderly spaces during events in a premier resort setting.

Join Our Team: Cheeca Lodge & Spa, a renowned destination in the Florida Keys, is looking for dedicated Banquet Setup Staff to join our team. This role is vital in creating the perfect setting for our diverse range of events held beachside, or in the brand-new Islamorada Ballroom, the largest event space in the upper Keys. If you enjoy hands-on work and have a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently set up and break down banquet/buffet tables, chairs, and equipment for diverse events.
• Arrange table settings, display centerpieces, and decorations to reflect the elegance of Cheeca Lodge & Spa.
• Assist with the placement and removal of audiovisual equipment and other event-related items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of event spaces.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.
• Capability to stand and bend repetitively during shifts.
• Handle the physical demands of setting up and breaking down event spaces.
• Must already be eligible to work in the USA - sorry no sponsorships.
• No hand/neck/face tattoos
• No facial piercings
