Job summary

Red Cliffs Lodge Moab is seeking a Banquet Server to provide guest dining service across multiple courses, from setup through breakdown. You will assist with event room setup, bussing tables, restocking condiments, and ensuring food is served at the correct temperature with proper presentation.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of high-volume banquet experience, be 21+ with Safe Server certification, and able to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS.

Responsibilities

  • Serves guests food and drinks during events as required.
  • Be able to answer questions related to buffet or menu.
  • Bus and set tables, including condiments as needed.
  • Assist with event room set-up (set tablecloths, dishes, silverware as needed).
  • Checks all china, glassware, silverware, and linen items needed for the event.
  • Ensures that food is served at the appropriate temperature and properly plated.
  • Responsible for proper handling of all equipment and storage after use.
  • Participates in deep cleaning of the outlet.
  • Assists guests professionally and courteously; adheres to high service standards.
  • Other duties assigned by manager or supervisor.
