Job summary

Temple Square Hospitality Corporation is seeking a Banquet Server for Banquets & Events in Salt Lake City. You will help set up spaces, serve plated meals and beverages, and support event operations in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet and event spaces according to BEOs and management direction.
• Serve plated meals, buffet service, and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor guest needs throughout events and anticipate service requirements.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized event environment during service.
• Assist with event teardown, resetting spaces, and post‑event cleanup.
• Work collaboratively with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure smooth event execution.
• Maintain high service standards and professional guest interactions throughout events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Banquet Server – Banquets & Events

What You'll Do

• Set up banquet and event spaces according to detailed banquet event orders (BEOs) and management direction
• Serve plated meals, buffet service, and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor guest needs throughout events and anticipate service requirements
• Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized event environment during service
• Assist with event teardown, resetting spaces, and post‑event cleanup
• Work collaboratively with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure smooth event execution

Job Environment / Other Requirements

• May be required to work outside regular hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a drug screen and background check and abide by all company policies
• Will take on additional duties as required or assigned by management

Compensation

$18.00–$21.00 per hour. Salary determined by factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and alignment with market data.
